Frequently asked questions
What is a letter club?
A group of subscribers who receive thoughtfully written letters in the mail— just as people did in centuries past.
Who is this club for?
Gardeners, mothers, farmers, women, child-rearers, homeschoolers, lovers of slow-living, or people who enjoy personalized correspondence.
What makes this different from an online club?
Real mail, meaningful content in the palm of your hand!
Are the letters handwritten or printed?
The letters are printed. Added items like recipes, quotes, reflections, and poetry may be handwritten.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CANNOT READ CURSIVE... or if you hate my handwriting. I can send the extras in a legible font.
When do the letters ship each month?
Letters will usually ship the week of the fifteenth.
What comes in each mailing?
- a beautifully written letter with anecdotes from my gardening/homesteading adventure
- reflections and poetry
- recipes
- seeds
- something to gift
- other things that catch my fancy
Are the letters connected as a series?
Not explicitly, no. You won't lose the plot if you start this month or next, but the material does reflect seasonality.
Will I get the same letter if I wait and subscribe later?
Older letters may be available for one-time purchase bundle prices, however, your subscription will start with the current letter.
May I cancel anytime?
Yes. Try to cancel at the beginning of the month, because you may not be reimbursed for any letters that have been mailed out.
